I couldn't sleep with my windows open because the street noise was so bad. I heard about white noise being able to blocking out noises, so after an extensive search I found this Wonderful Waterfall CD. It has been a real blessing! It didn't take long for me to figure out how loud I should play the CD on my stereo (it came with instructions). An added benefit to blocking out the street noise is that when I play it low, it creates a nice ambience to just relax.
